Torio Child Safety Standards

Last updated Oct 25, 2026

These are the child safety standards of Torio, the professional network for security officers and law enforcement run by Torio LLC. They apply to the Torio app and website.

Zero tolerance

Torio bans all child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This includes:

  • Grooming a child.
  • Sextortion.
  • Trafficking.
  • Sexualizing minors.
  • Any sexual image or video of a minor, including AI-generated or computer-generated ones.

This applies everywhere on Torio: profiles, posts, comments, discussions, photos, videos, files and messages.

Adults only

Torio is for people 18 and older. Everyone confirms their age when they join, and accounts we believe belong to someone under 18 are removed.

How to report

  • Use the Report option on any post, comment or profile, or in the menu of any message conversation. A report from a conversation can include its messages.
  • Or email support@torio.io.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.
  • You can also report to NCMEC’s CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

What we do

  • We remove CSAM as soon as we know about it and permanently close the account that shared it.
  • We keep evidence as the law requires.
  • We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by US federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
  • We work with law enforcement.
